Health anxiety

Need some coping strategies to deal with health anxiety please. It's present almost everyday . Just a weird body sensation in the morning triggers it, like I have tinnitus from last 10 years . Sometimes it gets too loud. Got checked from ent...all clear. Get muscle aches after workout, which again puts my mind at doubt that it is something worse.

Active Trauma Bond & "Freeze Response"

Hello, I'm an exam aspirant facing a severe nervous system collapse due to a trauma bond with a female friend. I was just prescribed Escitalopram & Desvenlafaxine by a psychiatrist for panic/somatic symptoms. I cannot afford paid therapy right now, so I need a specific, practical tool, not generic advice. My core issues: Cognitive Dissonance: I feel extreme, irrational "pity" and guilt towards her, keeping me mentally trapped. The Trap: Absolute No Contact is impossible. She visits my house regularly and interacts with my family. "Freeze" Response: When she is at my house, I freeze. I am terrified of getting close, but paralyzed by guilt to walk away. I surrender my boundaries. Please give me a specific CBT technique/grounding exercise to: A) Kill this irrational pity instantly. B) Break my freeze response and maintain emotional neutrality (Grey Rock) when she is present.

Attention and Emotional Difficulties

I have been experiencing difficulties with concentration and staying focused for several years. I get distracted easily, struggle to start and complete mentally demanding tasks, and often procrastinate even when I know something is important. I also experience frequent restlessness and have difficulty sitting still for long periods. During conversations, I often interrupt people or start speaking before they have finished. My family and friends have repeatedly pointed out that I sometimes talk instead of properly listening to what they are saying. I talk impulsively. These difficulties are affecting my studies, daily routine, and relationships. I also sometimes start crying unexpectedly without clearly understanding the reason. I was good in my studies earlier but when i came in 7th grade (2017) 13yrs old marks started to drop a lil and by 9th grade i became a complete mess. And I have not grown in my life from that point i am 22 and i don't have any direction in my life.

Is it true they are uncomfortable

Is it true that female psychologists may feel uncomfortable treating male patients with compulsive masturbation? Most psychologists seem to be women, and I have a compulsive masturbation problem that I want to seek therapy for. I’m wondering if female psychologists generally feel uncomfortable discussing or treating this kind of problem with male patients, or if they are trained to handle sexual/compulsive-behaviour issues professionally. I’d appreciate hearing from psychologists or people who have had similar experiences. So I should meet male psychologists?

How to verify her education claims

Question about verifying a psychologist's qualifications I came across a YouTuber/psychologist, Dr. Neha Mehta, who claims extensive educational qualifications, including two PhDs in psychology/sexology and several other degrees and diplomas. However, I'm having difficulty independently verifying these claims. For example, I can't find clear information about the years she completed each qualification, a publicly verifiable RCI registration number, or consistent records across professional platforms such as Practo. How can I properly verify whether these qualifications are genuine? Is there an official way to check: Her RCI registration/status Her PhD from the University of Rajasthan Her claimed PhD in Sexology/Couple Therapy Her other degrees and diplomas The years in which she completed each qualification I don't want to accuse anyone of misrepresenting their qualifications. I just want to know how to verify the information through official sources before trusting the crede
