I am a 19 year old female with a 4 year history of piles. I have pain, a small lump, burning after passing stool, and occasional slight bleeding (few drops of bright red blood). I also have chronic constipation. Without laxatives, I pass stool about twice a week with hard stool and moderate straining. With laxatives, it becomes soft and occurs every alternate day. However, recently laxatives are not working as effectively. I have tried Isabgol (initially helpful but later ineffective). A doctor previously prescribed Movicol, Looz (PEG), and Pruwel 2, which work only while I continue them, constipation returns if I stop. Currently, I am not taking any medication. My questions: 1. Do I need long-term medication or any further tests? 2. Is this still manageable with lifestyle/diet or do I need a procedure/surgery? 3. What is the safest long-term solution for constipation so that piles don’t keep recurring?

I have a problem with bowel movements. I pass stool, feel done, but within a short time (sometimes immediately) I get the urge again and pass some more stool. This happens 2–4 times, as if evacuation is incomplete in one go. No blood, no severe pain. Stool is not very hard. Is this IBS, mild constipation, or an evacuation issue? Should I use lactulose or psyllium — which is better in this case?

I have external hemorrhoids 7 years before it cured but skin tag ( bump ) there for me nothing harmful ........now the bump is unconformtable and pus also comes ......i currently fissure treatment is 95% cured

Gooday to u all. Since last 1 year I am facing stomach issue like mild Diarrhea. I took DSS 225 probiotics powder prescribed by a Gastroenterologist on December 2025. After having that for 20 days my gut health came normal. My stools becamr a bit soft. But after completing the course again the same problem started. Like i do not have loose motions but my stools are diarrhea greasy mode I did a blood test of haemoglobin, SGPT and SGOT PRESENT  Haemoglobin 12.1 on 17.4.26 (and Before 9 months it was 12.8) SGPT 64  SGOT 30 ( on 17.4.26) Please advise ? Hi. I had my Upper GI endoscopy 3 days back . The report is normal but I am feeling a little irritation in my throat also having a sore throat . I am getting low grade fever from 2 days . There is not any difficulty in swallowing food or any other pain other than little discomfort in throat and chest. Please suggest if this is normal or not.
