Hi, I have noticed blood in my stool..this happens once in 3 months or 6 months and stays for 2-3 days and goes away. I have noticed that when I consume alcohol for 3-4 days continuous it happens and it doesn't pain when I pass stool.. I start to eat healthy like High fibre food or gut friendly food and it goes away .

Is it true that functional megarectum severe be cured at home but it will not happen fast but slow recovery if do daily same time toilet habit soft stool exercise walk etc

Sharp pain at the start of bowel movements with blood on the surface of the stool for 10 days sometimes like lines or patches(blood) So I visited the doctor and got a prescription for 15 days. She saw anal tear but not sure of hemorrhoids inside so prescribed following medicines 1 sitcom forte -15 days 2 fidonal ointment- twice 3 Livoluk RF fibre Powder (said to get soft stools) I ONLY BOUGHT 7 TABLETS OF SITCOM FORTE FROM HOSPITAL LATER FOUND OUT I CAN'T  BUY THEM LOOSE AT PHARMACY SO IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE FOR THIS TABLET FOR OTHER 7 DAYS OR SHOULD I ONLY TAKE 7 DAY COURSE AND CONTINUE WITH OTHER 2 MEDICINE . Also my pain almost gone now  but still seeing blood patches on stool and mentioned same to doctor. Could you pls help me on this so that I can start taking medicine.

Hi I am suffering from functional megarectum symptoms like incomplete emptying everytime bad smell due to my past stool holding habits I have to know which tests can detect functional megarectum or show rectal dilatation

I am 63 years old CKD patient with creatinine of baseline 2.5 from past 9 years. I was suffering from renal calculus initially and was diagnosed with bilateral renal calculus and was removed. Currently, I dont have such issue but I am suffering from IBS issue where I take tablets when diarrhoea happened. Stool occult is negative. My hemoglobin is low currently at 9.8 despite taking erythropoietin injection. Kindly help and medication if possible for my IBS related. Due to my frequent loose motion, I cannot hold nutrients on my body

Have had papillary carcinoma back in 2018 and had thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine then itself, have been normal since then. Is it okay if I can start mounjaro for weight loss?

Doctor my daughter 12 years is felt with severe abdominal pain last year in Jan 25 then one gynae doctor gave IV injection of antibiotics and relief but this march 26 again same condition persist with USG reveals few Enlarge mesenteric lymph node of largest size appx 17.8×6.8 mm likely Mesenteric Lymphadenitis.Other Organs report normal.Her periods also started for last 2 years which is early as per doctor,she is 31 kg which indicates low weight.Now doctor is advising will do 9 months TB course for this.Kindly advice which treatment is best for my daughter either go for Homeopathy for long run drug course else any other treatment to treat Mesenteric Lymph Nodes.

My 4 year old niece is having bloody mucus with stool , yesterday it was 10 times she has urged for potty and gone through bloody mucus.
