My dog (lab) is not eating anything since yesterday.. he loves chicken but not eating that as well.. his temperature is 102.4 . No vomiting or diarrhoea. His age is 3 and weight is 32kgs. He is licking his paws.. what could be the reason for not eating and not being active

My brother picked rabid dog from his hands and within seconds he touch his hand on my cheek, my cheek was normal and in fear I didn't wash my cheek but haven taken lot of overdoses of rabies vaccine before incident. Eight month has been passed since now I am worried if I get rabies in future or had it gone inside my eyes from cheek.? What are the chances

My friend's kitten had a lot of fleas so someone suggested  her to mix kapur and coconut oil and applied it on the kitten . Upon searching online we found out that kapur is toxic for cats so we clean him with wet cloth and dry him as much as possible he is shaking and we don't know if it is a reaction from kapur or cold . We cannot go to a vet because we live in a remote village and the closest city with an available vet is 6 hours away. We are scared for the cats health and need urgent help from a vet . Now he is completely dry and sleeping under a blanket .

Today A stray dog that was not vaccinated touched his nose and licked my hand, which had no cuts. I rinsed that hand under running water, and the water that touched the area where the dog had licked splashed onto my other hand, which has a few small cuts. Do I need to get vaccinated?

Hello Doctor, i have taken arv full intradermal (0 3 7 28 ) completed on 6th aug 2025 , again new exposure happened so i took vaccine (0 3 7 ) completed on 19oct 2025. Again new exposure from rabid dog on 23rd 0ct 2025. I started new vaccine from 26 th oct as ( 0 3 7 28 ) scheduled. Is there any issue Doctor. I am full of anxious and stressed. Does this new vaccine boost my immunity or lost all the previous antibodies? I am confused and stressed. Please help me. Reply me. Does repeated vaccine cause any health issues? Long term and short term effect ?

My cat got into a fight a few days ago and sustained a wound on his ear. Since then ear flap is swollen and has dark/brown scabs that are peeling off. There is pus coming from the wound. The wound has a bad smell, similar to feces. He growls or moves away if the ear is touched but is still eating and licking his paw near the ear. Peeling of the scabs reveals more redness on the ear. I have himalaya Scavon Vet Spray should I use it . Help me pls

Unknowingly I have touched a dead baby bat body. So I have a doubt does a dead body of a bat can transfer any rabies virus? Just by a touch with a bat dead body can anybody get infected by rabies virus?

I completed my full rabies vaccination course on 7 August 2025. The same dog that previously bit me bit my dog again on 23 September 2025. I started my dog’s rabies vaccination after that — he has received three doses (the most recent on 2 October 2025), and his final dose is scheduled for 6 October 2025. My dog has also received his regular yearly vaccination. Today, the same dog bit my dog again, and while I was cleaning my dog’s wound, he licked an open wound on my hand. Please advise what I should do next.

In July I had done my 5 DOSE of rabies vaccination Last vaccination done 30 july 4 vaccine inject deltoid musle arm 1 vaccine inject buttocks muscle... This vaccination due to dog lick... Now 2 oct I feed on cow  chappties ...cow lick my middle finger little bit ...can I need again anti rabies vaccine ...in my sight cow z healthy Cow is demostic...how much chance cow carries rabies.. Pls reply
