I go for walks regularly and often see stray dogs. They usually pass by without incident, and I’ve never felt any bite, scratch, or pain. However, I start overthinking afterward—feeling like I might have been bitten or scratched without noticing, even when there's no bleeding or wound. This leads to anxiety and fear about rabies. I would like to know: Is it possible to get bitten or scratched without feeling it? Is there any rabies risk if there’s no visible injury? How can I manage this anxiety? Is therapy or medication recommended? Please guide me. Thank you.

Hi! Just needed a quick opinion. On June 24th, I was playing with a pet dog (very healthy and calm), and I accidentally got a small cut on my finger from a metal stand. The dog licked that wound, but he didn’t bite or scratch me. I saw the dog again on July 2nd — he was completely fine and active on the 8th day. Should I be concerned about anything like rabies, or am I safe? Just asking for peace of mind.

I was exposed to a street dog scratch 10-12 days before.. but i didn't took any anti rabies , as there was no blood shredding. I took anti rabies 3 shots in oct 2023 as that time also i was exposed to a pet dog bite. Can i take after 10 days of bite or that previous dose will help. I m fearful .

Hi, I was by mistakenly stepped over by street dog, but blood didn't oozed out.. I had once taken Rabbies vaccination in oct 2023.. And this incident had been almost 10. Do i need to take the rabies vaccine again. Its fearful.

Respected Dr., My bro was playing with my puppy who is 4 months old i adopted her from streets and she had other vaccinations completed but her rabies vaccine is not completed as the vet told me to bring her mext week for that. Today my bro was playing with her and i think her teeth has scratched my brother hand and i want to know if its serious or not and how many vaccine shots should he require. Hello to all doctors thank you for you time On 13 July at night my pet dog bit me on finger blood came I washed with soap and within 10 minutes in took ARS serum and rest the Doctor told me to come on following days of procedure.. out of 4 days vaccination I took 3 as of now and 4 th is on 10/8/2025 My question is on 20th July I took my dog to vet where he got his rabbies injection and other vaccines but now today on 24th July he just Scratched on my WRIST near veins even though blood didn't came but it's just redness and I washed thoroughly My question is how long the vaccine has started working on my pet as he took on 20th July and how long the anti rabbies vaccine has started working in my body as my last dose is pending on 10/8/2025 Do I need to concerned in any matter ? Or shall i restart my course of rabies again? Thank you all

I was feeding food to a wild outside squirrel by my hand and unintentionally it scratched (1/4th inch)  my finger a little and minor blood came out. I washed and applied medicine.  I had taken  a preventive tetanus shot a year BEFORE this happened (not after) .  No swelling or redness. Do I need to see a doctor or take any medicine?

Can I give my dog a medicine which is combination of meloxicam and paracetamol tablets????? Is it safe??
