Psychological Counselling
Personality type- HSP
Is there a hyper sensitive personality type? How they manage their days. Like I gone through a hyper sensitive people book. As I can relate all those things which are written. So is this needed any counselling or managed by meditation, and grounding techniques only?

Looking for a Psychologist
I’m looking for a psychologist who specifically deals with masturbation/compulsive sexual behaviour and related cases.
I’ve already consulted two general psychologists, but they couldn’t help. I found two specialists who seem suitable, but one is busy and the other is expensive (Dr. Neha Mehta charges ₹9,999 for 30 minutes).
I’m thinking of posting on LinkedIn to find a PhD psychologist with similar experience. Is that a good idea? Or can anyone suggest someone?

Persistent nightmares and poor sleep
I have been experiencing nightmares almost every night for the past year. They usually involve being chased, losing someone, or other frightening situations. I often wake up suddenly with a racing heart and feeling scared. The nightmares are affecting my sleep quality and leaving me tired during the day.
I would like to know what could be causing these recurring nightmares, whether this could be related to anxiety, stress, or another sleep disorder, and what treatment or therapy options are available.

Sometimes it gets too loud. Got checked from ent...all clear. Get muscle aches after workout, which again puts my mind at doubt that it is something worse.

Active Trauma Bond & "Freeze Response"
Hello, I'm an exam aspirant facing a severe nervous system collapse due to a trauma bond with a female friend. I was just prescribed Escitalopram & Desvenlafaxine by a psychiatrist for panic/somatic symptoms. I cannot afford paid therapy right now, so I need a specific, practical tool, not generic advice.
My core issues:
Cognitive Dissonance: I feel extreme, irrational "pity" and guilt towards her, keeping me mentally trapped.
The Trap: Absolute No Contact is impossible. She visits my house regularly and interacts with my family.
"Freeze" Response: When she is at my house, I freeze. I am terrified of getting close, but paralyzed by guilt to walk away. I surrender my boundaries.
Please give me a specific CBT technique/grounding exercise to:
A) Kill this irrational pity instantly.
B) Break my freeze response and maintain emotional neutrality (Grey Rock) when she is present.

Attention and Emotional Difficulties
I have been experiencing difficulties with concentration and staying focused for several years. I get distracted easily, struggle to start and complete mentally demanding tasks, and often procrastinate even when I know something is important. I also experience frequent restlessness and have difficulty sitting still for long periods.
During conversations, I often interrupt people or start speaking before they have finished. My family and friends have repeatedly pointed out that I sometimes talk instead of properly listening to what they are saying. I talk impulsively.
These difficulties are affecting my studies, daily routine, and relationships. I also sometimes start crying unexpectedly without clearly understanding the reason.
I was good in my studies earlier but when i came in 7th grade (2017) 13yrs old marks started to drop a lil and by 9th grade i became a complete mess. And I have not grown in my life from that point i am 22 and i don't have any direction in my life.

Is it true they are uncomfortable
Is it true that female psychologists may feel uncomfortable treating male patients with compulsive masturbation?
Most psychologists seem to be women, and I have a compulsive masturbation problem that I want to seek therapy for.
I’m wondering if female psychologists generally feel uncomfortable discussing or treating this kind of problem with male patients, or if they are trained to handle sexual/compulsive-behaviour issues professionally.
I’d appreciate hearing from psychologists or people who have had similar experiences.
So I should meet male psychologists?
