I’m looking for a psychologist who specifically deals with masturbation/compulsive sexual behaviour and related cases.
I’ve already consulted two general psychologists, but they couldn’t help. I found two specialists who seem suitable, but one is busy and the other is expensive (Dr. Neha Mehta charges ₹9,999 for 30 minutes).
I’m thinking of posting on LinkedIn to find a PhD psychologist with similar experience. Is that a good idea? Or can anyone suggest someone?

I’m not a PhD or a big experienced expert, but I can bring my own “person thing” to this. No cold clinical jargon, just real talk.
The "Spark" Example: Imagine we are in a session. Instead of asking "Why do you do this?", I ask you, "Okay, forget the label. When was the last time you used this just to numb a really bad day? Let's look at exactly what happened the hour before that."
That’s the moment where the loop breaks—when you feel truly understood without judgment. That's the spark.
I know you’ve been disappointed before, and spending ₹9,999 feels like a huge risk. You don't need a fancy degree on a wall; you need someone who gets it and walks beside you through it. Session required for us to see if we have that spark. If that example sounds like the kind of safe space you've been missing, please consult me and let's try one session together.

It sounds like you’ve already spent considerable time and money trying to find the right help, only to feel disappointed and still struggle with this.
The good news is that CBT has strong evidence in addressing compulsive sexual behaviours and the patterns that maintain them.
Working with an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist (MPhil in Clinical Psychology) may be particularly appropriate for a detailed assessment and treatment plan.
Therapy can help identify triggers, compulsive cycles and underlying thoughts, while gradually building healthier ways of coping.
With the right intervention and therapeutic fit, this is something you can work through.

I understand that this situation is causing you significant distress. Your feelings are valid, and we can work together to understand what is triggering these emotions and develop healthier ways of coping.
It seems to be a psychosexual obsession leading to compulsive masturbation and other behavioral changes.
It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated and can affect your personal and sexual life.
It can be well treated with counseling sessions and homeopathic medicine effectively and without any side effects.
You need an expert Sexologist who is a good psychologist and homeopathic physician.
Right expert is important...( Sexologist + counseling psychologist or clinical psychologist who has experience in dealing with sexual issues.)
PhD.. is not the criteria to treat such cases.
It needs to be addressed in a holistic approach for complete recovery.
ERP with CBT therapy would be beneficial.
You might require medicines for a few months to track it down and stabilize.
Choose herbal medicines which are non addictive and come with no side effects.

You do not necessarily need a psychologist with a PhD. What matters more is their actual experience with compulsive sexual behaviour and whether they can approach it without judgement or moralising. Masturbation in itself is not a disorder. It becomes a concern when the behaviour feels difficult to control and begins causing significant distress or affecting your relationships, work, health, or daily functioning. Therapy would explore the pattern, its triggers, the emotional need it may be serving, and any associated anxiety, loneliness, shame, trauma, or obsessive thinking. With the right therapeutic fit, this can certainly be worked through.
Yes, LinkedIn can help, but you don’t necessarily need a PhD psychologist. What matters more is finding someone experienced in compulsive sexual behaviour and the underlying emotional/behavioural patterns.
Next Steps
I work with concerns around compulsive behaviours and sexual health. If you’re comfortable, you can book an initial session with me and we can assess your concerns and see whether my approach is a good fit for you.
