So I went to the hospital emergency department, where they gave me some medicines through injections/IV. The pain improved after that.
However, after coming home, I started passing small amounts of loose, watery stools frequently, and I also developed a fever, for which I took PCM (paracetamol).

Since I was originally advised to stop directly from 5 mg, would it be okay to stop from 2.5 mg now, or would a further taper be preferable? If so, what tapering schedule would you recommend? Would it be reasonable to stay on 2.5 mg until my academic commitments are over and taper afterwards?
