Good. Removing shoe is good practice. It infact should be outside clinic main door with proper rack to keep shoes which will help people to put their shoes in proper manner. I have a lazy left eye and have power in both eyes. 8 have floaters too in both eyes. There are many web like, tail like, bubble and dot like. For 20 days I have been seeing afterimages of objects like grills, clock, text and images on phone, laptop and tv. Sometimes in Sky I see sparkle glitters like jugnus too many. Sometimes persistent afterimages for the bulb for 3-4 mins if I close my eyes it becomes multiple. Today I noticed a little bit of a light sensitivity also. I got a dilated retina exam at Shroff eye centre 3 days ago and my retina is fine.
The doctor is saying the afterimage phenomenon is normal. This did not exist 20 days ago How is it normal? I worked in IT, I am using refreshed tears eye drops. Also, I start to feel tiredness, little pain and burning sensation in my eyes very soon while working on my phone and laptop. Can anyone tell me what to do? Lazy eye, floater now afterimages/ghost images, sparkle, light sensitivity. Shall I consult neuro or other opthomologist?

I have a lazy left eye & have power in both eyes. I have been having floaters for a long time and suddenly start to notice more floaters. I went for a dilated retina examination last month and my retina was ok. Now from 15 days I am seeing afterimages like from LED Lights, Plaster of Paris, Time on Phone, Circular objects, Windows Grills, Wall Clock. Another thing happening is I see a light and then I see sideways I saw the afterimage of the LED bulb. To ignore it I have closed my eyes then while my eyes are closed I see multiple afterimages and when I opened my eyes multiple afterimages present on the wall. Sometimes It happens for a good 3-4 mins & I have to leave that room. I am seeing images of objects sometimes on left, sometime in right, sometime in diagonal direction if I see an object. It is not with every object. I went for a dilated retina exam yesterday & doctor said Retina is ok & what you are experiencing is normal. I was not experiencing any such thing until 15 days ago

I am concerned about my son, who would turn 13 on Jun 26. He can't see with his left eye. When he was 7yr old he accidentally dropped lime powder in his eye and which damaged his cornea. Although doctors performed many surgeries but couldn't save his eye. After so many surgeries his eye shape is little deformed. Now the doctor suggested cosmetic surgery and a prosthetic eye implant but as my son has undergone many surgeries in these many years he is now scared of any further surgery. He says he is ok with his eye condition. On the other hand doctor says he is growing up and he might get into inferiority complex, he should get operated so that both eye looks same. Plz suggest if he needs counseling. Is this condition of my son going to really impact his life his personality
