While walking i am facing pain in the knee my left leg got skipped i am using shoes ,And recently me hitting to step last week they are also pain is there.Can you guide what is the problem?

I am 60 kg and my height is 158cm. I need to loose 10 kg before my sister's marriage in May'16. I have started brisk walking for 40 minutes daily.Please advice a healthy diet plan I can follow.

My father got severe pain in his right leg about 6 months ago, MRI suggest nerve compression in D4,D5 area, although physiotherapist did a very good job and 90% of problem is gone,pain is not there now, but still he can't walk as he used to do before, in fast walking he still feel the pain, so he has to walk very slow, any suggestion please reply
