I have underwent minimally displaced oblique distal femur fracture surgery on 18 th march.plate and screw has been fixed.what if it doesn't heal ?will I be able to walk?

I have pain in my upper right abdomen, all tests done, everything normal. Doctor suspecting muscle spasm and prescribed Flexabenz gel and hot fomentation. What should be the sequence of applying gel and fomentation and after how much time?

Please suggest and after 5 days swelling almost over again swelling is happening and I am scared that it takes surgery
