Had hoarseness of voice for 5 days now having throat pain from yesterday. Having pain even on swallowing saliva.

Hello Doctor, I would like to consult you regarding a throat issue that has been troubling me. I have been a smoker for the past 6 years. In 2023, I noticed small lumps on my palatopharyngeal arch and consulted an ENT specialist. I was prescribed medications, including Sporlac powder, and was told it was due to irritation. After that, I had a habit of consuming alcohol daily and frequently eating spicy and oily foods, and I used to lie down immediately after meals. I have stopped alcohol since mid-2025, but I am still unable to quit smoking. Currently, I continue to notice the lumps along with throat irritation, which is causing me significant anxiety. I am worried whether this condition is serious or could develop into cancer, and it is affecting my concentration at work. I would like your guidance on whether this is due to chronic irritation or something serious, if there is any risk of cancer. Have u treated similar cases and I need elaborate answers only. Hey doc, i have ocd so i did frequent intentional coughs. And got bleeding like in august,December 2025 once. Then in january and march 2026 once. Whenever I do not cough I don't get any blood. During feb 27- march 5 2026, i had a cold and cough. At that time I didn't get any blood. Is it normal to get a little streak whenever we cough hard and intentionally many times? I also have a history of smoking from 2019-2022= 3 a day 2024 aug-2026 march= 9 a day. So I was worried that maybe my smoking had caused CA.

Hello Doctor, I have been facing a persistent issue of sticky throat, especially in the morning. When I spit after waking up, thick, yellowish, thread-like mucus comes out. Sometimes, I also notice small round food particles along with the mucus. While swallowing, my throat feels coated and sticky. My tongue is always whitish with some rashes/patches and feels heavy. Occasionally, I notice slight blood in my spit while brushing in the morning. I had last year treated H pylori , but symptoms still persist. Could this be due to throat infection, sinus issue, acidity (GERD), or something else? Is it related to my previous H. pylori infection? What could be the reason for food particles in spit and white tongue coating? Please suggest possible diagnosis, required tests, and treatment. Thank you.

Hello Doctor, For the last one month, I have been experiencing recurrent vomiting episodes. I have undergone Gastroscopy, Sonography, and a Gastric Emptying Study, MRI and all the reports are normal. As per the ENT consultation, there is a possibility that the vomiting may be related to an issue with the inner ear balance system. Based on this, I also underwent a Pure Tone Audiometry test, and I have attached the report for your review. Could you please review the report and advise whether my vomiting episodes could be related to an ear or balance system issue? Thank you.

I have concha bullosa in my left nostril as per CT Scan image attached due to which I face difficulty in expelling mucus everyday which feels very inconvenient and embarrassing and causing breathing difficulty until the mucus clears. I want to know whether crushing of Concha Bullosa will be an effective procedure for me as it is less invasive than other options like resection of bulla / turbinectomy? I have fear of Synechia formation in invasive procedures. Can concha bullosa recur if crushing method is used? Do I need surgery or is there any medicine which can cure concha bullosa permanently?

Please suggest something...the pain and spot isnot reducing from 22 days...pain in soft palate..nothing worked antibiotics anti histamine, steroid gel ,betadine ..becomplex..probiotic...please suggest something...it's not reducing... visited ent he gave me antibiotics and oral gel...but it didn't work...i also have one side ear pain with this...how to recover please tell me

I've had symptoms starting about 3 days ago: low-grade fever (maximum did not exceed 101°F, lasted 3 days, well-controlled with Dolo), mild sore throat (started after drinking beer, worse in the mornings and improves during the day), mucus mainly felt in the throat with only minimal and somewhat dried mucus in the nose, mild fatigue/ low energy, and some back pain.
