Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

My son is 13 yrs old and he is suffering from cold cough and fever.Till this morning he had 99.6 fever but now it's 101.I am giving him Sinarest and crocin 650 mg. Kindly advise. Thanks

I had tympanoplasty with mastoidectomy about 4.5 months ago. My doctor recently told me that the ear has completely healed, but I still occasionally experience a squelching/squishy/popping sensation, particularly when I have a cold or during swallowing. My doctor advised me to avoid AirPods, buds type for lifetime. However, I would like to clarify whether I need to avoid AirPods permanently or for the rest of my life or it is a general long term advise? Could you please advise whether occasional squelching at 4.5 months, especially during a cold, is expected during recovery?

In march 2025 i was ill ani admitted to hospital when i suddenly lost my voice on 4th day then did laryngeoscopy and found out that i have bilateral vocal cord ulceration then with medicine it resolved but there were congestion when did next laryngeoscopy in june 2025 & then again took 1 month steroid course and after that still there is hoarseness of voice vocal fatigue muscle tension so after 6 months means in January 2026 again did laryngeoscopy and found out mild bilateral bowing and phonatory gap and then started voice therapy but due to some personal reason i stopped it in mid and again in may i started voice therapy but there is no change so i decided to do stroboscopy bcz it shows detailed view and now in August 2026 i did strobe which shows- right vc paresis. right arytenoid appears slightly anteriorly placed both cords appear edematous with dilated vessels the amplitude of adduction on the left is significantly more than right. Reinki's edema.so i m confuse how it is linked?

Hi, Myself Kishor. I have a long time ear block on my left ear for about 2 or 3 months At first I thought it was due to the cold then I thought maybe water stuck in the ear. Everyday Evening I face this issue, what it could be whenever I use the buds it gets wet.

1.5 months back i had used earphones  in my right ear for like 2-3 days in night and post that one day I felt my right ear is blocked with eco sound and bit diziness. i met doc.. she has checked my ear drum and wax. nothing was there. she has prescribed me few medication and steam. with steam i felt fine 95 per and didn't take medcn. now since last 2-3 days that ear blocked issue has increased and felt a bit in left as well and I am feeling dum dum sound in right ear as well. today I met with doc she said there must be some internal ear issue and some nose congestion is also there has prescribed me a few medine. is this cz of nose congestion or what I am unable to understand

I need assistance regarding my septorhinoplasty. I would like to discuss some concerns related to my nose appearance and symmetry after the surgery and would appreciate guidance on the next steps.

I had a severe throat infection in December which eventually improved, but I've had recurrent throat symptoms since then. For the last two months I've had persistent throat pain, predominantly on the right side, pain when swallowing, and right-sided ear pain. I also feel some swelling on the right side of my neck. I have completed azithromycin and then clarithromycin, but the pain persists.

Chronic coughing with post nasal drip for over 8 months. X rays show bronchitis. Has been on foracort 400 much for a few months and gradually stopped it in 15 days. Coughing started again after that. Has been on multiple allergy related medicines. Patient stays at home most of the time and cause of allergy is unclear. Has consulted ENT specialist and Pulmonologist so far to no benefit. Coughing starts immediately on stopping the medicine.  What to do?

I got a helicoptex piercing on 22nd july and a bump on 27th july after that the bump got a bit bigger and my helix started pus and all happened i am wearing a neem stick will it heal ?

If a doctor prescribes a medicine of a particular strength, but that exact strength is not available and a lower-strength tablet with the exact same salt/composition is available, can I take two tablets of the lower strength instead of one tablet of the prescribed higher strength? For example, if the prescribed strength is 40 mg and only 20 mg tablets with the exact same salt are available, would taking two 20 mg tablets be equivalent to taking one 40 mg tablet? Is this generally safe and equivalent, or are there any differences in absorption, formulation, or dosing that could make this inadvisable?
