Hi Doctors, I need help. Whenever my boss or any senior talks to me alone, I feel very nervous. My body shakes, I sweat a lot, and I feel very uneasy. When I try to sleep, I overthink too much and I see scary images. A dog once barked at me badly, and now whenever I feel stressed, I keep seeing that dog’s face again when I close my eyes. It scares me and I feel like I can’t breathe. Last Monday I even felt like I might die. I live alone in Noida and earlier I stayed with my parents in Guwahati. Please tell me what is happening to me.

I need to manage my stress related to work and anxiety. These are affecting my day to day life and making my physical health weaker. I also have a recent traumatic event which is even adding more to it. I'm currently on anti anxiety medication but still I am unable to handle certain situations. Kindly suggest me what should I do?

Need advice about IQ test and doctor's response I was terminated from many jobs, so I went to a government hospital to check my IQ. They sent me to a psychiatrist. I told the doctor that I want to check my IQ. The doctor asked, “Why do you want an IQ test? If the IQ is low, we cannot increase it. So why test unnecessarily?” I am confused now. What is your opinion?

Can one person be both, like in the attached image — Psychiatrist and Psychologist? I want to know if a single person can be both a psychiatrist and a psychologist, like in the attached image. Or are they always separate professions? Please explain.

I have been a family centric person where i have shown equal love & compassion with each members of my family. I have taken the most responsibility of the family even took debts for them also and even i am paying it off too. I have been working from the last 7 years without a holdiday trip or break for myself. Suddenly these days i am feeling very jealous and emotional towards the pampering of my younger brother by my parents. They take good care of him, and it indirectly show a difference of love and care by pampering him. I used to ignore it. My mother doesn't make a good food for me, but do everything for the younger brother. Even now younger brother taunts me as "you are the second choice" and you remained as a second choice. I just literally broke down from inside & I am numb now with these situation. Already i am bearing many issues with my mind, body and professional life. This hits really harder on me. I am thinking about moving out from family circle now.

I am 35 year old , recently I am having an addiction of masturbation which is hampering my concentration and focus, I am always thinking of it. I had to do it daily , sometimes two times a day. Kindly help .
