Hi, this uncomfortable feeling can be due to flight or fight response from a stressful situation. As you have mentioned already that you overthink, this over thinking is taking you to the fight and flight response. We need to work on the root of over thinking and replace it with rational thinking.

It seems to be an anxiety issue. It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated. It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery. The first step you should take is to ask yourself that whatever you are thinking is it or is it not supported by proof or any evidence.
