Anxiety Problem
I have a real anxiety problem and really overthink a lot, I take too much stress and get really anxious. What should I do.

Managing Anxiety is important  as it can affect a person’s ability to work, study and participate in other activities. Recovery is possible with the appropriate treatment. Overthinking , getting captured with self defeating or intruding thoughts are definitely  very unhealthy They may also cause excessive activity in your brain that can be harmful to you leading to anxiety. So to treat them 1 . Identify  what is the root cause if these thoughts . 2 . Identify  the exaggerated  part of thoughts 3 . Reconstruct new thoughts  that are more healthy , real and rational . This all we do through various psychotherapies. You can reach out for Counseling  as well . Some helpful tips to manage anxiety  and intruding thoughts include practicing mindfulness, relaxation techniques, correct breathing techniques, dietary adjustments, exercise, learning to be assertive, building self-esteem, cognitive therapies , exposure therapy, developing problem solving strategies  , medication , deep breathing . Also reaching out for  psychothereuptic counseling will help .

It is a process where you along with your Therapist identify the root cause of your present concerns and come up with strategies to address them. It will also provide an exit to the cyclic thoughts and emotions going on in your mind.
