Hi Doctor, I received an IV drip on December 9th, and four days later, I developed an open wound at the injection site that hasn’t healed yet. White pus mixed with blood drains intermittently, and there’s slight swelling on my hand. The original doctor referred me to a surgeon, who recommended a minor procedure to incise the skin, drain the pus, and stitch it up. Is there any non-surgical alternative, like an ointment or antibiotic tablets, to heal this? I’m concerned about the exact cause of the wound forming precisely at the IV site.

I am suffering from anal itching after passing stool from last 40 days.It was started from diarrhea due to antibiotics.I do warm sitz, anovate and diet change relief happened but not recovered fully. Dr on online consultation recommend it for 15 days.but not confident without annovate because itching is moderate to intense.No bleeding and no pain.

My mom is 47 years old..Her blood sugar is not very high it's almost normal and bp is also normal range..she has grade 2 non alcoholic fatty liver..she's having skin allergy in her body like neck stomach hands not legs..what can cause this?

My bp stays this level mostly since few weeks- at night can go to 125/80- i take telmisartan 40 mg Due to winters i stay inside eat high calorie food so perhaps its at this level.. I want to know is it acceptable as long as bp stays below 140/90

I took complete course of arbitration vaccine which ended yesterday after i got a small bite from my 3 month pet dog. Now i am seeing that in India fake abhayrab vaccine is being circulated since 2023 November and that anyone who took this vaccine should consult a physician and re take all these vaccines. My question is - Is it really necessary to take the entire course of arv again? Or should i go for booster dose?

Have pain & problem in eating...Have done blood test & sonography done...need to know further course of action.

I have have three dog bite case and all the time I got abhayrab vaccines. All the cases are between aug2024 -july 2025. I read the news about abhayrab rab fake vaccine case and I don't have vaccines batch number .Am i safe? I am totally sacred.

Hi I do have high BP and take medicines. It's under control with medicines. I do measure the BP once in a few weeks at home just to check.  Whenever I check my BP, it also shows my pulse rate and it's always higher. Around 100-120. Then I will sit down for a while and keep checking it for a few minutes. It will show up 100-110.  Never goes down below 100. I asked my doctor about this during my visits and he said it's ok. During my visits, they do check vitals and pulse rate will be around 90-100.  They were never concerned about it at all. I am 40 years old and obese.  Does this pulse rate normal or need to be checked out? Do I need to sit down for sometime before checking the pulse rate? I just simply stand and check it sometimes with pulse meter.
