Rabies risk from dog's saliva
A dog had probably eaten from the garbage bag ket outside as the garbage collector didn't pick it up today. It took me 2-3 minutes or more when I tried to pick it up with a stick and put it on the side. But the bag fell on the ground and some liquid splashed up in my eyes. I don't know if this poses a risk for rabies or not and if I need to get vaccinated? Because saliva may not have dried but it was over 3-5 minutes since the bag was lying isolated. Kindly advise please.

Since I have doubt that it had liked and it contacted directly to ur eyes which could me mode of transmission as eye is mucosa so better advice to go with rabies vaccine even if the chances of getting is low Bcoz if it's rabid that is 100 percent fatal which has no cure so go with prevention method that is vaccination which is very safe
