Do SSRI Antidepressant affect HIV Test
Hello DOCTOR..
4 year ago i had an HIV exposure but unfortunately that time i was taking Antidepressant SSRI. I took Antidepressant SSRI daily through out the whole HIV Window period of 90 days.
I read an Article that says Antidepressant SSRI significantly slow down viral replication and RT response of HIV.
Now i am worrying.. thinking that if that study is true then my daily intake of Antidepressant SSRI might have slowed down viral replication and rt response of HIV to the undetectable level slowly day by day during the 90 days window period. Even when i took my HIV 3rd gen antibody test on 92 days, that time i might have had that much low virus even my immune system could not detect the virus or virus particle and could not produce detectable level of HIV Antibodies. Therefor my 3rd gen Antibody test on 92 days might have been failed. Tell me whether my test conclusive or not.
