Ear-Nose-Throat Problems
Sleeping disorder
My T zone is crooked which is why I can't breathe properly from my nose. This is causing me to do mouth breathing and affects sleep. I snore very loudly and often wake up feeling breathless and dry. I have cold 24*7 and have throat irritations too frequently. My sleep quality has deteriorated over the years and I am unable to sleep peacefully without waking up.

DNS+ Bilateral turbinates+ tonsil G3
My diagnosis:
Deviated nasal septum (DNS)
Chronic bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy
Recently noted Grade 3 tonsil enlargement
My symptoms:
Chronic sleep issues with daytime tiredness and dark circles
Frequent headaches
One-sided nasal blockage
Heavy snoring
Occasional episodes of suffocation while sleeping, waking up suddenly
Mild nasal discharge in the morning
Recommendations from two doctors:
Doctor 1: Advised a sleep study and, based on evaluation, recommended surgery combining coblation tonsillectomy, FESS (if needed), and septoplasty.
Doctor 2: Suggested starting with septoplasty and turbinate reduction alone. He advised monitoring symptoms afterward and considering tonsillectomy only if issues persist.
I would appreciate your guidance on which approach might be better in my case.
Thank you for your time and advice.
