White patches at back of throat

Hello Doctor, I have noticed white patches on both sides of my anterior tonsillar pillars. They appear smooth and symmetrical, and I have had them for about 8–9 days. I also had a sore throat recently. The patches are not painful and cannot be scraped off. In addition, I occasionally experience jaw pain. Sometimes it occurs on the right side and sometimes on the left side. The pain is not persistent; it comes and goes. An ENT specialist previously mentioned that I had tiny tonsilloliths, but I am unsure whether these white areas are related to that finding. Could you please tell me what the possible causes might be. No swollen lymph nodes Ear pain sometimes And neck pain too maybe because of posture

White patch on anterior tonsillar pillar

I noticed two smooth white patches that are present symmetrically on both sides of my tonsillar area. They first appeared about 8-9 days ago, and a few days later | developed a sore throat, which has since improved. The patches are soft, not painful, and cannot be scraped off. My ENT diagnosed two tiny tonsilloliths (tonsil stones), but I am confused because tonsilloliths are usually tiny stones, whereas what I can see looks more like smooth white patches. I would like to understand whether these patches could be something other than tonsilloliths. I saw it on google that it can be a cancerous condition. I went to ENT but still concerned. I dont drink, smoke or chew tobacco.
