Fat level in body

I have started drinking alot of water lately..plus I stopped eating outside/junk food and started doing exercise/playing badminton. Still I gained weight more than ever i.e. 3.5kg in a month, which is very hard to accept for me. Is there something called water weight in body? Is there any procedure or test from which I can get my body examined i.e. how much fat is present in my body that i need to reduce or some water weight or anything else. Because i started all these things to reduce weight but i gained weight. Please help me out doctors. Should I do lean bulk or cut with 20% BF

I have started gymming since 3 months and below is my pic and the results of my Body with measurements , I wanted to acheive a lean physique so when it comes to a diet Currently I am lean bulking but not able to acheive that desired physique . So far I have gained 7.3 kgs of Soft muscle mass and body fat dropped to 19% from 21% . So is there a problem with my training or with the diet ?
