My father was diagnosed with infarcts in brain. He is under medication. However, seeing no or negligible improvement since more than a year. He doesn't understand conversations in first instance nd speaks very rarely. He walks very slowly like a kid.

My mom has been suffering from a severe pain starting from below the ears to straight up to the head...she has that pain & also high Bp (200)but didn't feel the effect of bp. Is that cervical or what or if it is then wat to do?

Dear doctor, Can someone let me no the cost of deep brain stimulation for parkinson's disease. How long it will help. And where can avail this stimulation

Hello doctor. I have migraine problem frm last 4-5 yrs. i try my bst to sleep early bt i am not able to. At the time of headache one side of my head pains terribly. My eyelids pain badly n i feel so un comfy. My neck also pains alot n now its affecting my back also. Kindly suggest me some medicine for sleep n head pain. Currently i take napra D 250 once a day aftr lunch meal n dayo OD 250 aftr dinner but its still the same. Kindly help

My father suffered an acute infarct with haemorrhagic transformation in left basal ganglion and fronto-parietal lobe region on Feb 22 resulting in right side hemiparesis with aphasia. Also detected few old lacunar infarcts in right gangliothalamic region. He suffers from Hypertension. Before the stroke, he was a very active person. With physiotherapy, there is very slight improvement but it is extremely slow. No improvement in speech whatsoever. I have heard that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is known to give positive outcomes in such cases even months and years after the stroke. Could I have some definite information on this treatment please? Also, where in India can we go for the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatment? It is not available in Lucknow.

I have been going through this headache since a week. It's so sever that I can't even sleep plus as soon as m on the bed trying to sleep my head starts to spin. I have never faced this before. I am not weak m taking a proper diet. When ever dis headache happens ani try to lye down my head starts to spin. I haven't taken any medicines so far

I have swallowing problem in food and liquid. I have also a problem dysarthria means problem in speaking. My speech is not clear. I have also weakness in my body. I feel that my body has not any energy or stamina. When I walk my body does not balance. I have problem in my hands. When I pick any object I can't grip on that object. My body muscles are became stiff and I am unable to do something.

My head pains alot esp eye lids .. I feel nausia my neck pains n sometimes chest too . From my neck i feel pain in my back as well. I try my best to sleep early but i am not able to sleep before 3am . I am tired of dark circles now . I cannot tie my hair for longer my head starts paining and when my headache starts its mostly left sde of my head n sometimes right sde n mostly eye lids . I cannot tolerate white tube lights or any noise. I have acidity problem as well . Most of the times after breakfst i feel acidity. Kindly help me out and suggest me what to do to get rid of it.
