Severe Seizures

My mother has been having dissociative seizures daily for the past 6 months. We got her evaluated by neurologist. Ct scan and Video eeg came normal. During an episode, she suddenly closes her eyes, becomes completely unresponsive, her right hand shakes, followed by heavy complete body shaking jumping hurting herself unknowingly and side-to-side head movements for 20 mins. She does not respond to sound or touch throughout the episode. She has also been seeing black shadows and hearing whispers once or twice a day. She has been under psychiatric treatment for 5 months. Previous medications (Daxid 50 mg and Quetiapine 25 mg) did not help. Now taking Duvanta 20 mg (afternoon), Duvanta 30 mg (night), and Zolfresh 10 mg (night). The hallucination-like symptoms have reduced, but the seizures remain unchanged not even 1% reduced. She is also unable to sleep without medication. Is this condition treatable? i want her to be cured doctors. What else should i try ? please help me find a solution.

My grandma has some neurological issues

My 80-year-old grandmother has had progressive memory loss and behavioural changes, which became noticeable after the deaths of her husband, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter within a three-month period in 2024. She repeatedly asks the same questions, forgets recent events, sometimes becomes confused about her surroundings (for example, asking if her own renovated house is really her home), has become socially withdrawn, spends most of the day in her room, has lost interest in activities she previously enjoyed, including daily prayers, has a poor appetite, persistent dizziness, fatigue, and occasional palpitations. Her CT brain shows cortico-central atrophy, an old lacunar infarct, and a small calcified meningioma without mass effect. We would like an assessment to determine whether this is dementia, depression related to bereavement, or another treatable condition.

Parkinson's

My FIL had early onset of Parkinson's, was diagnosed 3 years ago. He was not prescribed Sydnopa (which I understand is common) but instead Ropark, Papkin, Amantral, Relgin. Does this sound like the right course of treatment?

Seizures disorder

I was prescribed Brivazen 75 after back to back seizures three times in may 26. After 15 days my doctor gave me Brivazen 50 but I again had seizures so he adjusted dose back to Brivazen 75. My mri and eeg reports are normal. Are there chances for recurrence and what are the root cause for it. I am also having medication for coronary artery ectasia diagnosed two years back.

Head feels full like it's about to burst

Since today, I've been experiencing a headache that initially felt like pain in my forehead, but later changed to a feeling that my whole head, especially the scalp area is full, as if it's inflated like a balloon and about to burst. The pain is mostly on the right side, although I also feel some fullness on the left. I do not have a fever. I am sensitive to bright lights and loud noises, and I usually start feeling better if I switch off the lights, stay in a quiet room, and rest. The episodes also don't seem to last very long when I do this. I think I've experienced a similar type of headache before, although I can't remember exactly when or how often it has happened. Could this be a migraine, or could it be due to another condition? Should I get examined in person or undergo any tests? Thank you.

Persistent Afterimages

I have been seeing persistent afterimages for a long time and it is not limited to phone, tv, laptop. For ex: I watch a plate, glass, grill, plaster of paris design and look away I see a glimpse of that object for a second. I am working on my laptop and I see it towards the screen after typing then I see the keyboard glimpse. Even on the road if there is a bright sign board or name and I look away, I see a glimpse of that. I have got my dilated retina exam done and it is fine. Even a few months ago I got an MRI Brain Plain done on the suggestion of a neurologist and it's also fine. Recently optho doctor suggested that I go for a Neurologist for ocular migraine. I don't have any headache but sometimes I feel heaviness on the sides and back of my head. I also have many times feel pain in the eyes area. I have lazy eye in LE, floaters, number in both eyes. Taking Bilypsa and L-gautholine for fatty liver from 7 months. Lost 26 Kg of weight in 7 months. Which doctor to visit? I am fed up.
