Am suffering from multiple sclerosis
I am MS patient since last 15 years am going fine otherwise iam a working professional but sometimes I feel problem in walking then I have to walk by dragging my feet after walking a few kms I get tired very soon n I have major stability and strength issue. I easily walk of flat surface but cannot climb stairs without holding railing please suggest me any relevant medicine not steroids which will help me with strength and will improve my walking stability

In a patient with long-standing MS, foot dragging, reduced endurance, stair difficulty and instability can result from pyramidal weakness, spasticity, foot drop and/or MS-related fatigability. It is important first to determine which of these is dominant.
There is a specific non-steroid medicine worth discussing with your neurologist: dalfampridine. It is specifically indicated to improve walking in adults with MS and can improve walking speed in some patients.

Hello Respected madam.
As you are known case of MS since 15 years I will advice to undergo fresh MRI Brain with spinal cord so as to identify the lesion also if possible to post the previous MRI image to go through and compare the recent and past one.
Also I want to know the symptoms regarding the strength have been aggravated recently or are same as before.
There are non steroidal treatment options available but I will prescribe once I know your complete prper history images mri study and symptoms.
