I took MRI brain for tinnitus and radiologist gave me a report like multiple t2 hyper intensities in periventricular juxtracortical centrum semiovale left putamen basal ganglia No gad enhancement But I have no symptoms except on and off tingling sensation like stocking glove pattern Csf done shows no oligoclonal bands My neurologist told me this is RIS Why its not Ms I am worried since they didn't start me treatment also as McDonald's criteria is not fulfilling

In all cases of RIS treatment is not indicated. There are guideline which says that in your case it is not indicated. It is seen the medicine will cause more harm than the disease itself at this point.. And there is no significant help by taking meds
