Brain MRI report
My father 62 years old was told to get his brain MRI and angio done as suddenly after waking up his left hand was not working and having any movement. His angioplasty was done 12 years back. This is his brain mri and angio report. Can his hand become normal again as he drives rickshaw .Request you to pls guide me on this report. Multiple discrete T2-FLAIR hyperintensities not showing restricted diffusion or blooming on GRE are seen in bilateral fronto-parietal deep and periventricular white matter—s/o chronic ischemic changes. Mild diffuse cerebral atrophy with commensurate prominence of ventricles, cisterns and sulci. No e/o acute infarct, hematoma or space occupying lesion. Bulky thyroid gland with multiple variable sized altered signal intensity nodules within. USG thyroid correlation is recommended. No significant vascular narrowing is seen.
