Migraine issues

Hey, I have been experiencing migraine headaches since the age of around 10–12 years. Earlier, the episodes were quite frequent, but over time their frequency has reduced to about 3–4 severe attacks per year. During these episodes, the pain is extremely intense, to the point that I am unable to get out of bed, and even medications like Vasograin do not provide relief. Vasograin is the only medication I take for my headaches, nothing else. In addition to these severe migraine attacks, I also experience mild to moderate headaches about 1–2 times a week, especially when I have increased screen time or higher levels of work-related stress. I have identified certain triggers for my migraines, including exposure to strong smells, prolonged loud noise or music, stress, less sleep and consumption of fast food.

Visual aura

Recently started to have visual aura where I start to see zig zag lines pattern. During the episode I am able to focus only on a very small area, everywhere else these zig zag lines keep flickering. The episode usually stays for about 1/2 an hour, peek in middle and then die down. There are weeks when it happens 2-3 times a day and then there are times where it won't come for weeks. Had an MRI but reports doesn't have much to say. Is it common? Is there something I should be looking out for? Is there any medication for it? Not sure where to go as nothing is diagnosed.

Brain migraine

Doctor, he have been having episodic headaches for 6 months. They are throbbing and moderate to severe. Before or during attacks, I get visual disturbances like flashing lights and sometimes difficulty speaking. I also feel light sensitivity, dizziness, and sometimes red eyes and nasal congestion. After the headache, I feel tired with brain fog and neck soreness. Everything returns to normal after the episode. I want to know if this is migraine with aura and whether I need an MRI or treatment.” Sometimes he gets it upon traveling somewhere or getting exposed to sunlight

Suggestion regarding high prolactine

Hello Doctor, My wife was diagnosed with high prolactine in 2022 and at that time prolactin was 113. After MRI , she was diagnosed with large pituitary gland. Then she started taking cabergoline 0.25 mg once a week. Now again she have tested for prolactin and also did MRI scan and in result prolactin is in normal range and also pituitary gland is normal in size. So, what about next? She should continue medication or she can stop? After stopping medication same problem can again?

Re : Patint Name Gurvinder Kaur

Hello Doctor, My wife had a brain surgery on 20/04/2026 due to head injury and brain bleeding/clot. Today is the 8th postoperative day, but she is still unconscious and has not regained proper consciousness yet. Current condition: 1. She is still not responding normally. 2. Fever is persistent. 3. Blood pressure is fluctuating (up and down). 4. Secretions/mucus are still excessive and suction requirement has not reduced. 5. She is having difficulty clearing cough/phlegm on her own. 6. Overall neurological improvement is very minimal. We are worried because even after surgery there is no significant recovery in consciousness. Kindly advise: - Is this condition normal on day 8 after brain surgery? - What could be the possible reasons for delayed consciousness? - Does persistent fever and excessive secretions indicate chest infection or brain infection? - Should we continue at the same hospital or shift to a higher neuro critical care center? Please guide us urgently. Thank you.

Meftal spas reaction with divalproex

Hello doctor, I am currently taking Divalproex for seizures. Today during my exam, I experienced repeated sudden jerks in my hand (almost every minute), and I was fully conscious but unable to control my hand or continue writing. Previously, I used to get only a single occasional jerk, but this was much more frequent and intense than before. I had taken Meftal Spas about 1 hour before the exam for the first time, and I also felt slightly drowsy during the exam. I’m not sure if this contributed. Could this be a change in my seizure pattern or trigger-related? Do I need a dosage adjustment or should I avoid certain medications like Meftal Spas? Also, what precautions should I take during exams to prevent this from happening again? Thank you.

My soles used to pain even before pregnancy but after delivery it has gotten worse. My hand and feet hurt and burn a lot to the point that I can't sleep at night. I'm having multiple problems but all reports always come out to be normal. I don't know which doctor to consult, I'm confused. My knees also hurt, legs burn down the knees. How will I find out if this is some nerve related problem and can sciatica be fixed? I was prescribed tryptomer last year since I could not take proper medicatn bcz of breastfeeding. I stopped having it cz it made me sleep all day. I don't know if I can now go for treatment as I still breastfeed but can't bear the pain anymore. Please help.
