Bone & Muscle problems
Duration of muscle spasm recovery and ne
Hello Doctor,
I have been experiencing recurring neck pain, muscle spasm, and stiffness for the last 4 years. Both my MRI and X-ray reports are normal. Usually, I take a muscle relaxant (MR) tablet on an SOS basis about once or twice a month, which gives relief.
However, this month the pain has increased, mostly due to winter, and I have needed to take MR tablets more frequently than usual. Because of this, I consulted a doctor who prescribed MR twice daily for 10 days along with gel application at night and advised using a heat pack before applying the gel.
I would like to know how long muscle spasm and stiffness usually take to heal completely, whether I should complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve earlier, and how to prevent recurrence in the future.
I am a software engineer with average sitting time of 6 hours. What can be done to completely cure this issue.
.
Thank you.

ANKLE INVERSION INJURY (left)
I'm Ashutosh (16yr), 98kgs 6'1 height. Recently on 22nd Jan in an sports event, I got a ankle inversion and it swelled up real quick. Then I rushed to hospital, did x rays and all. The doctor said it was a sprain however there was severe damage on ligaments. I ate Pain killers, Chymoral Forte, applied diclofenac and ice and took vitamins too and applied ankle binder too. However now I'm able to walk, but the thing is I feel sever pain on some particular points on the bone of leg at left side. Particular points show severe pain.

Spine problem
Hello doc
My dad 53/male is k/c/o htn, dm, and ihd
Recently he has a backache which was not subsiding on medications.
And x ray had to be done..and x ray shows L5-S1 compression.(He also had h/o dragging pain in left lower limb from past 1n 1/2 months)
Now the doctor in my city told to continue bed rest and after mri surgery may be/may not be needed.now the doc gave pregabalin, deforz and NSAIDS.
Should my dad continue with corticosteroids as it can increase glucose levels?
Or just go with physiotherapy after the medicines are over?
I am attaching x ray photo here.
Pls give me suggestion
