Hello, there is need of a bit more information than what you have provided. But based on what you have said, the prolonged pain after removal of disc could likely come from biomechanical reasons. That is strength of your core muscles and posture is poor and incomplete rehabilitation post operative’s. As well as it is likely the reason why you suffered the disc prolapse in the first place ie biomechanical failure. Secondly it could be relapse of the problem, which may be less likely but you may need to consult for further investigation with the specialist again.
Next Steps
Assessment and rehabilitation, you would likely require investigation for Vit D and calcium and repeat clinical examination and investigation of Xray and if relevant, MRI.
