With the kidney stone already ruled out and your radiologist calling this musculoskeletal, a muscle or ligament strain from how you slept or moved over the weekend is the most likely cause. Alcohol can also worsen dehydration and muscle stiffness, which may be adding to the pain and dry mouth you noticed.
Next Steps
Try gentle stretching, local heat, and good hydration for a few more days. If the pain continues despite rest and the medicine you were given, ask your physician whether a physiotherapy assessment or a different approach would help.
Health Tips
Please see a physician if the pain spreads, you develop fever, or it isn't improving within a week.
