Regarding popping clicking sound
After starting to wear aligners, the jaw popping and clicking sounds have increased a lot. About a week before I started wearing aligners, there was a slight sound while chewing, but since I began wearing the aligners, the sound has increased significantly. Is this normal?

Traumatic ulceration or Cancer
Hello Doctor,
I recently had scaling and tooth grinding done 3–4 days ago. Since then, I have noticed a painful irregular sore/cut-like area on the upper inner right cheek near the teeth rubbing area. Pain increases while eating, touching, or cheek movement.
When touched, the area feels slightly irregular/thick like a small lump internally, though there is no obvious visible raised growth from outside.
Could this still be a traumatic/friction ulcer after dental work, or does it look suspicious for oral cancer and require urgent examination? Kindly guide ..thanks I am scared ...

Advice on med tech..!
Hello Doctors, I am a school student participating in vivo ignite tech nation wide competition. Actually, I really didn't had any option to go out and look for information so I searched online and landed up here.! Actually, I am already a student who dreams to be in med-world but that's a long way ahead. Before only I got to know about this competition and I am currently thinking of developing something related to med tech. As you know world is evolving so is technology. I thought of some dental devices or something to help on with surgery or reduce muscle strain for your exhausting working hours.I also thought of hand tremors for surgery efficiency. I wonder if you could help me with the ideas. If you can please do tell me what's the most tiring thing in your routine or something that strains you up so much. The more the consents the better, because only with variety I can come up with a better and best idea.I hope you can help me as I don't have much time to submit the manuals.Thanku.

Heavyness or slight pressure on jaw musc
Hi, I have had jaw dislocation episodes twice. First time got fixed in 2 hours with midazolam and reduction by doctor. Second time , they gave me anesthesia and midazolam and saved it after 6 hours (exploited) .
Now its been 3-4 minths since the jaw dislocation and its been fine up until last week when its started having spasm in right jaw muscles and slight pressure or heavyness just below cheekbone in front of ear. And I been taking myospaz tablets for 5 days . Just so my muscles don't spasm too much at night . And risk jaw dislocation. It happened to me while yawning or opening muth too wide.
So now idk why the heavyness suddenly appeared and not going away after a week of muscle relaxant once at night. And i actuvely avoid clenching . Idk if i used to clench in sleep.
Also, It feels like i hear slightly differently from right ear. Might be related to jaw related issue too.

Cavity... severe pain
Hiii... I'm 35 years old... I had a cavity in my tooth and it was causing pain, especially at night. However, the pain used to go away on its own without any medication. When I visited the dentist, they recommended a root canal treatment (RCT). However, they also suggested trying a temporary filling first to see if the tooth could be managed without an RCT. They said that if there was no pain after the filling, we could continue with it; otherwise, an RCT would be necessary.
Yesterday morning, I got the filling done. After returning home, I started experiencing very severe tooth pain in the evening—much worse than I had ever felt before. We called the dentist, and they prescribed a painkiller and an antibiotic and again advised an RCT.....i wanted to ask whether getting the filling was the wrong decision. What could be the reason for such severe pain after the filling?
