White red patch in buccal mucosa since 5 months I'm very scared I have used ointment and sm fibro since past 4 month nothing resolved

Mild crowding in lower front teeth, plaque/tartar buildup near gums, and want evaluation for alignment (braces/aligners) and cleaning. Do I need metallic braces for lower teeth crowding?
