Hi sir it is a mild injury in cheek . One thing I need a clarification that the irritation is before using a tooth pick or after using a tooth pick . If it is before using tooth pick means that there is a sharp tooth surface of any of the teeth in that area which may impinge the cheek. You need to smoothen the tooth surface. If it is after using a tooth pick then you need to stop it. If you have any pain you can Mucopain gel 3 times if necessary.
Next Steps
please visit a dentist and what is the reason
Try to treat the food lodgement so you can stop using the tooth pick
Health Tips
Don't delay to visit a dentist
avoid using tooth pick
Small suggestion try to avoid chewing even no Tobacco pan also
The appearance is most consistent with localized traumatic/irritative inflammation of the buccal mucosa, likely related to repeated mechanical irritation from the toothpick and/or contact with the adjacent wisdom tooth. The short duration of 4 days supports a traumatic cause. Given the previous history of tobacco chewing, however, a persistent or non-healing red lesion should be evaluated clinically.
Next Steps
* Stop using toothpicks in the area and avoid any further mechanical irritation.
* Avoid tobacco/areca-nut products, smoking and alcohol.
* Maintain good oral hygiene and use warm saline rinses 2–3 times daily.
* Avoid very spicy/hot foods until the area settles.
* If the wisdom tooth is repeatedly traumatizing the cheek, an in-person dental examination is recommended.
* Reassess after 1–2 weeks. If the redness does not resolve, or if it develops into an ulcer, becomes indurated, enlarges, bleeds, or develops a white/red mixed patch, seek evaluation by an oral medicine/oral surgery specialist and consider further investigation.
Health Tips
The photographs alone cannot establish a definitive diagnosis. Do not repeatedly rub, scrape or check the lesion, as this can delay healing. Although the current history favors traumatic irritation, the previous tobacco-chewing history makes persistence beyond 2 weeks a reason for prompt professional evaluation, rather than continued observation.
From the picture it looks like a mild injury caused due to an external factor. Kindly rinse your mouth with warm water and salt, keep the area clean. In case of pain in the site apply mouth ulcer gel locally available.
Next Steps
if pain persists for more days kindly visit your nearby Dentist
Health Tips
Don't irritate the area and stop using a toothpick and quit the habit.
