Recently have developed a red spot inside cheek. That area had some recent bite injuries as well during sleeping. Had a history of smoking but quit around 2 years back. Please advise.

Seems like a mark due to bite injury. No need to worry. But if it stays like this for more than 2 months get it checked.

The red spot may be due to repeated biting or irritation of the cheek, especially since you have recently had bite injuries while sleeping. From the photo, it looks like a small area of irritation. However, a photo alone cannot confirm the exact cause.
Next Steps
Avoid biting or irritating that area and check whether it starts healing over the next 1–2 weeks. Please visit a dentist/oral medicine specialist if the spot does not heal, becomes larger, painful, bleeds, or keeps coming back. Since you have a past history of smoking, it is especially important not to ignore a mouth lesion that persists.
Health Tips
Try to avoid chewing on that side and check for any sharp tooth or filling that may be rubbing against the cheek. Maintain good oral hygiene and avoid smoking or tobacco. Most minor injuries heal on their own, but any mouth ulcer or red/white patch that persists for more than 2 weeks should be examined by a dentist.

Based on the photographs it looks like a small traumatic/ irritative ulcer, erythematous traumatic lesion, most likely from cheek biting, rubbing against a sharp tooth,or irritation around the wisdom tooth/ molar area.
Next Steps
if a sharp edge is present,smooth/polish it or treat the offending tooth as appropriate. Avoid spicy, very hot and acidic food. Don't repeatedly touch or bite the area. For pain, a topical oral anaesthetic can be used if appropriate.
Health Tips
A traumatic ulcer should show clear improvement within 1-2 wks after the irritation is removed.if it persists beyond 2 weeks, becomes larger/ harder, repeatedly bleeds or keeps recurring at exactly the same site, it needs an examination by a dentist, oral medicine specialist and possibly further investigation.

Hlo sir…..thank you for sharing the picture…..after seeing it i can say it can be because of trauma from biting or any rough surface of your molars. Get it examined by your dentist and if it is because of any rough surface on your molars then get it smoothened, and u will be good to go. There is nothing much to worry about but get it examined asap.
Next Steps
Get the examination done and go for appropriate treatment as advised by your dentist.
