I did a wound dressing of a person who got bitten by a dog..the wound was not actively bleeding. First i applied isopropyl alcohol 70 percent for 15 seconds and wiped it and again i applied isopropyl alcohol 70 percent and wiped it. Then I applied povidone iodine and wiped it. A little bit of iodine touched my index finger where i have not cut but i have a cut on my thumb that was caused 15 hours ago then i applied isopropyl alcohol 70 percent on my whole hand and left it for 20 seconds then i washed my hand with soap for 20 seconds. I'll share the photo of the thumb. Today at night 12 am it got cut from a bone of a chicken while eating and this incident happen today at 3.30 pm. Today from 6 AM till this incident (3:30 PM) it didn't bleed. Can this transmit hiv?

Iam experienceing sudden hairfall, after my typhoid in 2023 , this my first time to experience this type of hair fall can you suggest anything to use

I have been using salicylic acid for almost a month and before using it I had very few acne's but I noticed i have open pores and acnes were there but like very few and not a clear skin so I researched and found salycilic acid according to my problem and I ordered it but now after using salycilic acid my acnes are literally growing more and more my skin becomes more worse than before idk if it's a purging period or any side effects that's why I need some suggestions should I continue or stop using it ? I want my open pores to clear out and also I have oily skin too

Prescribed azelaic acid 10% for 18 days (acne marks), but continued using it daily for 53 days by mistake. Had escalating breakouts (tiny comedones, whiteheads, pustules) since week 1 of using it, worse each cycle, mainly on jawline/lower cheek. No burning/stinging ever. History of mild hormonal comedonal acne since age 9, never cystic. Stopped azelaic acid now. Should she completely discontinue it, or can it be reintroduced later at lower frequency? What likely caused this reaction?

Facing this from the last 15 days. And it's on both feet but itchy too. Using only coconut oil any further information regarding this will be helpful

I m facing shedding from all over the body from last 1 year it's been like started in 2024 in nov now it's 2026 july but I m facing same whole body hair is shedding will you check my ferritin thyroid and vit d level and please suggest me the What D3 correction dose/duration do I need? Since ferritin/TSH are normal, what else could cause whole-body (not just scalp) shedding? Should I get zinc, B12, CBC tested too?

For few days noticed some kind of white patches on the back there is not itching or anything sometimes after bath feels very mild itchy but it is not fading away nor spreading. Seems a fungal infection. Please suggest some anti fungal cream. Please see attached image .

It's been a 3 weeks since my grandfather was diagnosed with herpes at the buttock he was given valacyclovir 1000mg thrice daily with ointment herperid acyclovir + lignocaine for two weeks and now doctors said that it is a bedsore and have changed medicine to augmentin 625 and t bact ointment from last 2 days but his condition has worsened .what can be done in this situation .how to confirm that it is not a herpes? He is diabetic too. I have attached photos and the first one is the latest.
