Respected Doctor, I have been facing a recurring issue with cracks at the corners of my mouth for the last 6-7 months, especially on the left side. The cracks heal in 4–5 days, but reappear within 2–3 days, creating a constant cycle. It causes severe pain while opening my mouth, eating, and drinking, and sometimes it even bleeds slightly. I have noticed that shaving triggers this problem—when new facial hair starts growing after 2–3 days of shaving, the skin cracks again. If I don't shave, the gap between flare-ups is slightly longer, but I need to shave weekly. Home remedies haven't helped at all. I have attached a photo for your reference. Please advise me on the cause and suggest a suitable treatment plan. Thank you!
