I hade delusion episodes 3yrs ago, I was hospitalized. My doc prescribes 10mg olanzapine for last 3yrs. I want to reduce dose. Is there chances of relapse if I reduce dose to 5mg ?

Dear doc, I am taking the placida after it was prescribed in the morning, And sometimes i get nightmares where i remember the dream which was so realistic and no other symptoms but today it felt so real that i thought i woke up from it and got raised heart or i actually woke up from it and got raised heart i can't differentiate. So does placida tablet causes this side effect as i happened after having placida(here i am talking about placida no placida plus)

My dr change my medicine escitalopram to desvenlafaxine now i feeling so low and sad why is desvenlafaxine not suit me

Hello Doctor, My husband is 33 years old. He gets angry suddenly and shouts loudly. He doesn't think of others feelings. He also eats unlimitedly ( he says that he can't control eating) without thinking of me. He almost eats everything. His friends also told me about his eating and anger issues. He have other issues as well. Even every telling he's not changing. Does he need councelling? Please suggest

Constant feeling of sadness and excessive crying . always feeling negative and overthinking alot . constantly judging myself , losing interest in day to day activities , not able to concentrate , forgetting things easily , feeling a bit hopeless .

I had 2 delusion episodes. I take olanzapine 10mg for last 3 yrs. But It causes 10hr sleep, sedation and drowsiness. What should I do ?

I got a severe headache in the afternoon due to which i had behaviour changes and acted very immaturely..

Does psychiatrist provide medicine or how it is done. Looking to help a person who wants to pour out emotions but unable to. Plus he has met counceller multiple times not helping.

Hello doctor... There's a problem with my father. He is 61 years old. From the past so many years he has been behaving so differently only on a particular time frame like November starting to March end and remaining the whole year he'll be fine. From November to March he behaves so arrogant, short tempered, and intakes so much food, doesn't sleep at night, always travels, doesn't control his thoughts, talks with himself, fights unnecessarily, doesn't value others, so hyperactive, behaves like a teenager and many other things. From the past 2-3 years this keeps on becoming severe year by year. And when we suggest dad to go to psychiatrist he said "I've already visited a psychiatrist, they've said because of the age factor these things will arise. So we have requested him again to go for a checkup with a psychiatrist but he always refuses by saying "I'm completely alright, i don't require any doctor consultation for me etc. we've requested him a lot but still there's no use. plz help me.

I can't speak in group of people. My voice trembles when I speak in group of people. Hand tremors are there when someone's watching me. I have been suffering from this from many years. Now in my profession I will have to speak in front of the whole class . I want to get rid of this social anxiety and hand tremors. I have tried relaxation techniques but it doesn't work on the spot.
