It's shameful to share that my father has been under going a serious mental issues since August,2022.He had affairs with another woman and now my father can't stay without talking her.People called it as 'Vashikaran' or something. But I do not believe all those. Current conditions of my father:- 1.Father can't stay without talking her.If he can't talk to that woman,he felt heart palpitations. 2.He lost his interest to the family and became careless.Also if we scold or threatened him,he do not care anything anymore. 3.He has become so crazy about that woman that he is ready to do anything for that woman. Dear specialists,I don't know anything about the situation but kindly suggest me what shall I do now in this situation.

Can I smoke ciggerate while taking antidepressants. I am taking Bupropion Hydrochloride for my depression but I also smoke a lot. So is it safe and what are the side effects of smoking while being on antidepressant? I can consider smokin' less than usual.

Recently I have switched Job where I have to work in the US shift. I have been working from 6:30 PM to 4:00 AM Indian time for the past 7 months. Earlier, I used to sleep around 4:30  AM. For the past 2 weeks, I can't to sleep properly. I sleep around 7 to 8 AM. Also, I am exhausted and feel depressed since I started working in the US shift. Please suggest how I can sleep properly.

My age is 32, I am having anxiety issue since last 4 years.sometimes I feel ok but sometimes I feel very panicked and feeling uneasy most of the times.recently I have checked bp it shows 150/100 in 2 days.i am anxiety tablet very rare when i feel difficult. I need to take bp tablet aslo?? Please give the clarity.

I had take an anxiety medicine previous 2 years. But suddenly I had stop it.. I am ok right now. Have any side effects suddenly stopped it and any problem occurred in brain.

Hello I have anxiety symptoms and I want treatment of it 1 I am shy from childhood and also introvert in childhood 2 I don't like to go anywhere in childhood and I can't sleep any other place in night 3 I feel shy to talk with someone over phone and face to face 4 I wish and want to do many things and think daily in morning I will do that thing and go there and there but feel nervous and stress before going anywhere 5 I wish to visit places and will visit but I don't go if I feel shivering anywhere and due to stomach problems which is due to anxiety 6 I don't feel nervous daily but before going anywhere and not feel negative or overthinking daily 7 I don't drink or smoke and no any other bad habits 8 I go many places and stay many places in night but from last two years I face the same problem So tell me exact problem and treatment of it

I want to take suggestion regarding one case. A patient is too much perfectionsist, he arranges his book in special form , arranges shoes neatly , very clean. But he does not have any conflict in mind. All his thoughts are ego -syntonic. I repeat , all his thoughts are "ego syntonic". But his family member complains that he is too much perfectionist. But the patient is really okay with all what he is doing. I guess it can be classified as Obsessive Compulsive personality (cluster C) trait but not as OCD. Do you think , such patient can be started with SSRI ?
