I was prescribed Nexito 5 mg, and my doctor advised me to stop it on 15 January 2026. Instead, I reduced it to 2.5 mg daily and have remained stable with no withdrawal symptoms. Since I was originally advised to stop directly from 5 mg, would it be okay to stop from 2.5 mg now, or would a further taper be preferable? If so, what tapering schedule would you recommend? Would it be reasonable to stay on 2.5 mg until my academic commitments are over and taper afterwards?

All the benefits of Pexep have gone away (better mood, better cognition, better focus, better behaviour, more energy) for me. I took a 25mg dose for 3 months. Since it's basically doing nothing anymore, how do I taper off of it? I read that I cannot simply stop taking it because of severe side effects.

I have struck with many confused thoughts. Not able to take any new step in my life. So I want to know where or which issue struck me like this. My mother tongue is Tamil so I need Counsiling in the same language. I have been taking venlafaxine 75 mg for around 6 years for depression. Over the years, I have gradually experienced reduced sexual desire, arousal and erection quality. Initially, normal sexual content could stimulate me, but gradually I needed stronger stimulation to feel excited or achieve an erection. Recently, even extreme sexual content does not produce much excitement or erection. I can sometimes achieve an erection and orgasm with intense stimulation. I previously had a penile ultrasound and physical examination, and both were normal; the andrologist did not suspect a vascular problem. I also stopped venlafaxine for 90 days under medical supervision, but my sexual function did not improve, while my depression returned.

Patient is aggressive since last 2-3 months. Turns violent with the caretaker.  Has erratic mood swings. Patient is hard of hearing despite using basic model aid.

My mother takes clonafeel plus medicine and 0.25mg alprazolam. How to reduce the dose of these medicines?
