Doctor, I had a UTI on July 27 that improved with medication but recurred 8–10 days later. Based on my urine culture, I took the prescribed treatment while traveling to Japan, but symptoms did not fully resolve; I completed the medication on August 24. After returning to India on September 1, my urine routine test on September 3 was normal, and subsequent tests were also normal. I still occasionally notice a urine odor, especially after 4–5 hours without urinating or sometimes in the morning. I also experience brief, mild pinching around the urinary area, which resolves within seconds after urination and is more noticeable after drinking several glasses of water quickly.

I have bladder spasm suddenly may i ask what medicine should i use to relief my pain immediately . Thank you

I have been experiencing a mild, intermittent burning sensation inside my vaginal area which improved when I increased my water intake, but the sensation has not disappeared. I don't have any other symptoms like burning during urination, itching, unusual vaginal discharge, fever or pain. I am experiencing this for over a month.

Greetings, I have been suffering from uti for three months and now and not one day has gone without irritation and pain, sometimes bearable and very painful sometimes. I have tried antibiotics, homeopathy, urispas etc. but nothing seems to be working. Please help. I'm still in pain while writing this.

My mother, around 50, has type 2 diabetes, hypertension and mild CAD (no stent/heart attack). She has painful, frequent urination and visible blood in urine. Culture: E. coli >100,000 CFU/mL, sensitive to nitrofurantoin and cotrimoxazole. USG suggests cystitis, no stones. Creatinine 0.75, Hb 10.2, WBC 12,400, HbA1c 7.3%. Medicines: UriBID 100 mg, Bactrim DS, Gluconorm G1 Forte PR, Rejunex CD3 NF (half tablet), Rosuvas-F 10 and Telma 20. Ecosprin-AV temporarily stopped by doctor. She has vomited on two consecutive days, including food and a white tablet-like object. If taking tablet around 8 am and afternoon 2 pm vomited 2 tablets came just like original if I pressed turned into powder form. She also has stomach pain and headache. Previously tolerated another nitrofurantoin brand. Was the morning medication likely absorbed? Whether body rejected medicines?

It started with recurring bacterial urine infections. Now my urine routine test and urine culture are normal, but I still have a persistent burning sensation. For the last 3 years, I also haven’t had a morning erection at all, and I’m experiencing nightfall almost every night. Has anyone experienced something similar, especially with normal urine tests and culture? What could explain these symptoms, and which type of doctor should I see?

For the last 2–3 days, I have been needing to urinate frequently during the day. At night, I also have some difficulty starting urination and need to strain a little; the flow is initially slow and then becomes normal. I also have some body pain.
