My father is on AKURIT-4 yesterday was his first dose. He is weighing 56 kg and he's having like itching yesterday the eating was limited to his hands, but today his whole body is itching. I have given him MonteLC which subsided the itch for sometime but again it has mildly started is it a matter of concerned because he had like a hepatitis B positive, but it is inactive and his left is preferably normal before starting the therapy Today day to therapy what should be the next plan of action?

I got delivered my baby in decemeber nd from last one month m having pain in my all joints (feets hands knees) including legs pain and arm pain what could be reason for this

My mother was diagnosed with hypothyroidism on May 2025 with 12 TSH then the doctor started the levothyroxine 25mcg tablet and after it we got the test in October and the TSH level was 6 then the another doctor started the 50mcg levothyroxine tablet and now again we got her tested on April 2026 and again her TSH was 12 and on November 2025 she was been under the IV iron treatment for low hb . Currently she's taking the 50mcg only but she's suffering from swelling nd pain in body . Plzzz help what to do ??

My CBC shows microcytic hypochromic anemia with a high RBC count and a borderline Mentzer Index of 13.8. My ferritin is 7.88 which is functionally low. The pattern is inconclusive between iron deficiency and beta thalassemia trait. Should I get an HPLC Hemoglobin Electrophoresis to rule out thalassemia before continuing iron supplementation?

Hello Doctor, I am 37 years old, married, and have no children. I recently had follow-up ultrasound breast scans due to bilateral breast pain. My first ultrasound report (2025) showed multiple small well-circumscribed hypoechoic masses in both breasts, suggestive of fibroadenomas, categorized as BIRADS 3. Follow-up after 6 months was advised. In my latest ultrasound report (2026), multiple lesions are still present in both breasts. Right breast lesions measure approximately 12.8 × 6.8 mm, 9.7 × 5.5 mm, 9.0 × 3.6 mm, and 13.0 × 6.6 mm. Left breast has a small lesion around 3.5 × 3.0 mm. Most lesions are now categorized as BIRADS 2, while one remains BIRADS 3. No lymphadenopathy, ductal dilatation, or suspicious features are reported. My concern is that the number/size of lumps appears slightly increased compared to the first report. Could this still be normal fibroadenoma/fibroadenosis related to hormones? Is surgery or biopsy needed, or is regular follow-up enough? Please guide me

Burning pain at back can be a sign of any type of cancer. Burning pain is there since 3 months. It comes and goes. Sometimes upper, lower and middle few times at shoulders. I m taking sompraz 40. Fatty liver is there grade 3. Kindly suggest .
