Last got cbc 15 days ago and hb was 11.8 now it 11.3 but my report says normocuric and normochromic ..what does this mean..do I have anemia ...should I take iron supplements ..and please doctor tell if report is normal only..it given low monocytes as well

My father has 5.6% hemoglobin and platelets count is also 16000
Is there any issue for this cause. I showed him to the doctor he said they want a blood transfusion with all RCB cells. Please provide any some suggestions. Thank you
