I have been experiencing soreness and a persistent pain in my throat for the past 2 days. Last night, when I coughed, there was some blood in my phlegm. This has happened today as well. I'm drinking warm water for now but what other measures can I take? Should I be worried?

I am fine throughout the day but cough continuously at night since about 3 weeks now. I also get some mucus strands (similar to nose mucus during cold).
