Shall we immediately go for surgery or my father should reduce his weight and the potbelly and then only we can go for surgery. I have gained approx 9 kgs in 1 yr. 3 months back got to know i have thyroid 10.5 so been taking meds of 75 mg n now it has come down to 5.5. but my weight is not going down no matter how much i exercise or diet. infact my get swollen everyday.

I eat well , currently i am taking ATT medication since 2 months, i had some gastric problem also but after suggestions of gastroenterologist my gastric problem is also normal , i eat well but not able to gain weight. I make a test of Liver Function Test. It shows some high SGPT and High Alkaline Phosphate. Is it normal.?
