Hi Dr..My 5 years old girl was experiencing loose motion/constipation on off from last 5-4 months..Have checked with pediatric gastro and came to know that she has constipation ( fecal loading) in xray and suggested dulcolax suppository and movicol for 30 days.The night she had suppository she passed small hard formed stool with lots of pain.Next days she started pediatric movicol in 100 ml one sachet.. yesterday she passed small pebble like stool and today she passed small soft stool but problem is she is not telling to poop ..I have to make her sit 2-3 times after meals.She always told us before about pooping.Is something a problem..She is active and asks for food as well.She is telling us when she needs to pee but not for bowel movement..It's second only.Dr prescribed her with 30 days movicol.Her height is also increased only 1 cm in 5 months..Is her current gut issue the problem for that increase?

Hi My son 6 month old is having fever since yesteeday morning my doctor has give ibrofen 60ml one 3.5 ml sos after givung medicine fever is droping but after 4 hours it comes back. Doctor said ita viral as his chest is clear but i am.but worried and he ia couging a bit.

My 18-month-old child had a stomach bug with vomiting 4 days ago, but the vomiting stopped after 1st day. Tonight, they began crying severely, twisting in bed, and trying to sleep upside down. But they do not have a fever.

My son is 9 years old. He is getting burning sensation during urination for last 2 weeks. His urine routine test and urine culture report is normal. The USG of the stomach is normal. He is taking mu-out, citralka as medication. Drinking 2 litres of water, two tender coconut daily but the burning sensation still persists. Kindly let me know what could be the probable reason?

My son started eating solid foods at around 6 months of age, and I breastfed him until he was 1.5 years old. After I stopped breastfeeding, he almost completely switched to drinking milk and has been eating very few solid foods. Whenever he tried eating solids, he would often vomit, so he gradually stopped eating them. My concern is whether he might need an appetite stimulant or any syrup to help increase his appetite, or if there could be another reason for his poor intake. He is currently 83 cm tall and weighs around 12.2–12.5 kg. He is extremely active, very smart, and has no problem running around, climbing up and down the stairs, and playing throughout the day. Could you please advise whether this is normal, whether he needs any tests, or whether there are any treatments or feeding strategies that would help?

My baby is fed with both mother's milk and formula Dexolac stage 1. Since last 3 to 4 days he is showing these symptoms. What needs to be done.

My daughter is 1 year old with weight of 6.8kg. For past 2 days she is passing out greenish colored and liquidy stools. She is also refusing to eat anything that we offer. We are giving her ORS water frequently and trying to offer her plain rice but she is rejecting rice however she drinks ORS water and also sometimes feeding on mother's milk. She is crying a lot but still active. What is it that I should be doing. Are there any prescriptive medicines which will help ease my daughter's condition. We went to a paediatrician and he prescribed her antibiotics and a probiotic directly saying it is a bacterial infection. I am skeptical of his approach and am reluctant to start her on antibiotics directly. What is standard protocol in such cases. Should the doctor have prescribed zinc initially to her heal her guy lining and the next steps should be antibiotics.

My daughter 1.5 years old girl, she is done 1.5 years vaccine at govt. Sector but vaccine site swelling since 15 days She is treated Ibugesic p syrup Agumentin 228.5 syp Thrombphobia ointment But still not reduce swelling please suggest better treatment

Hi Dr- I have a 5.5 year old girl with a weight of 5 kg and a height of 115 cm.She got diarrhea in jan which lasted for 2 weeks and again in June she got vomiting and collitis like symptoms.Dr prescribed Taxim, zinc and probiotic.She recovered completely but day 1 day back she passed stool 3 times a day , 2 solid followed by 1 semi solid/watery with mild pain and gas.I have kept her yesterday on low fiber diet she didn't pass still yesterday but today she passed semisolid stool with mild pain .She is active, drinking, eating and passing urine,No idea if it is a  stomach infection or normal? Should I follow this diet or move to a normal diet ? She usually passed the stool once a day .

My baby 14 month old swalloed little part of glass while biting cellphone is there anything to worry about it iam not sure weather she swalloed Or no
