A short course of meftal-p is not known to pose a problem if there is full closure of VSD and child is doing well. Paracetamol is the first drug though
Greetings
Meftal P (mefenamic acid) is generally safe for short-term fever management in children who have fully recovered from a ventricular septal defect (VSD) closure.
