This is normal. You can wait for a couple of days more. Look for these symptoms to consult a doctor Hard or dry stool: Passing small, hard, pebble-like poop. Pain and straining: Excessive crying, arching the back, or straining for a long time with no result. Tummy issues: A hard, bloated, or swollen belly. Feeding changes: Throwing up, refusing to feed, or acting very lethargic Crying a lot. Visit a pediatrician for check up

Greetings! 8 days seems to be a long time. Since baby is accepting Feeds well and passing gas, it doesn’t seem to be an emergency. It’s not advisable to change the formula. However, it is recommended to get your baby examined to check for the abdomen and also thyroid tests.

Hi This is normal for baby to not pooped for 8 days. You don’t have to change formula. Baby’s on breast feed and formula do develop this sometimes. But when the baby passes stool and it is soft then you don’t to worry. If it is more than 10 days and your baby is uncomfortable then visit hospital.

Formula fed babies few of them do have complaints of not popping frequently and smelly farts. Mix the formula according to the instructions.. even baby has not popped if baby is comfortable, soft abdomen, passing gas, taking feeds well, no vomiting, passing urine well you need not worry.

Eight days without a poop can be normal in a baby on combination feeding, especially with normal urine and gas passing well.
Next Steps
Watch for a soft belly, comfortable feeding, and no straining or crying, and call your pediatrician if those change.
Health Tips
See your pediatrician sooner if the belly turns hard or tight, or your baby stops feeding well.

Greetings An 8-day stool gap is atypical for mixed-fed infants. Formula-fed babies usually pass stool every few days. Normal urine indicates hydration, but assessment is needed. Do not change formulas without direct medical advice. Monitor for vomiting, a swollen belly, or severe straining.
