Hi doctors my daughter is 16 months old she is in range with all milestones except walking , she is scared that she will fall
What i observed is if I take her to park she loves to walk by herself without support when kids are around and if i wear her shoes she immediately she cries that she wants to walk but at home she rarely tries to walk one day she will walk at home and next day she won't even try she goes back immediately to crawling
I have showed to 2 renowned pediatrician both said her tone & strength is fine
I am getting worried because kids of her age walk so well here she is not even interested
Can I consider this as walking or not because one day she walks and next day she don't
Thanks

Hello
Give her more of floor time with toys scattered around and encourage her to walk. Initially might be she is scared eventually she will overcome. As already she has been examined and all is good there is nothing to worry.
Greetings
16 months old, a child who can walk independently but frequently reverts to crawling or refuses to walk on certain days still counts as meeting the walking milestone.
It is developmentally typical for toddlers to fluctuate in their walking consistency as they build confidence, navigate anxiety about falling, or adapt to environmental factors like sensory issues with footwear.
Since two pediatricians have already evaluated her physical muscle tone and strength as normal, this pattern strongly suggests a behavioral or temperamental phase rather than a medical issue.
To encourage her progress, continue offering ample barefoot floor time at home, provide a stable Push-Along Toy, and praise her independent steps without placing undue pressure on her performance.
