My father has been suffering from intermittent back pain since a year... Its not on a regular basis but occurs suddenly when he wakes up from bed after sleeping or bends down to pick up something and then get up.. its lower back pain initially but recently moved a bit upper. I have cervical spomdolytis amd loss of cervical lordosis. So i have constant pain in back neck and side so i keep cracking my neck and moving it both sides to relief pain. Is is bad to do this?

For last 1 week whenever I am moving my neck from right lateral to mid position it creating sound 'Tic Tic'. Two sounds it is so irritating, as it is just at the back of my neck and closer to ear. This is not associated with any restrictions of movement or pain. I have L5S1 PIVD and i am 30 years old.
